Where would we be if God left Moses in the wilderness after murdering an Egyptian or if He gave up on David after he stole another man&rsquo;s wife? What about Paul, who before he met Jesus, was hauling Christians off to prison? Because God gave them all a second chance, Moses led God&rsquo;s people out of slavery, David became a great king of Israel, and Paul became arguably the world&rsquo;s greatest missionary.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tSecond chances aren&rsquo;t only for people in Bible times. God is still giving them out today. God can do amazing things with people who ask for forgiveness. The book follows the lives of the characters from Following the Sparrows, since I wasn&rsquo;t ready to say goodbye to the town or the friends I&rsquo;d made there.
