\n\tTell us your name and a little bit about yourself:<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n\tI'm Mandy Brockman. I have a great group of friends, one of whom just got married. But my boyfriend recently dumped me, and we were both invited to the destination wedding, so that made for a very awkward event. And potential flight home. Thankfully, I was able to get my seat changed last minute.\n<\/p>\n \n\tWhere do you live, and why do you choose to live there?<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n\tI grew up in Wyoming, but I moved to Minnesota for college where I intended to major in theater. Even though I ended up pursuing business, I now work at a theater for adults with special needs, and I wouldn't leave this place for anything.\n<\/p>\n \n\tWhat is a quirk of your personality that people don’t know?<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n\tI love to get mail! My heart jumps for joy when I check the mailbox and there's something there. Especially if it's an actual letter, but even if it's just coupons. I mean, who doesn't want to save 50 cents on a box of cereal, am I right?\n<\/p>\n \n\tWho chronicled your story, and why do you think he\/she picked you?<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n\tA friend of a friend did the honors. She heard my story and found it so amusing and heartwarming, that she had to share it with the world.\n<\/p>\n \n\tWhat obstacles did you overcome in order to reach your happily-ever-after?<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n\tI had to get over the sting of my ex cheating on me. And I had to repair the strain in my relationship with my parents; that situation never sat well with me. But most importantly, I had to be open to allowing God to work in my life. I knew about Him growing up, but I'd let life choke out His presence for too long.\n<\/p>\n \n\tTell us about your special romantic interest. What makes them so special?<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n\tAh, CJ. He was amazingly kind and forgiving from the start. Trust me, I did not make a first good impression, but he didn't care. For three straight days, he was unrelenting in showing me what a real, honest man looked like. From the inside out, he was just what God knew my heart needed.\n<\/p>\n \n\tThe first time you saw your special person, what did you think? Was it love at first sight or did they have to grow on you?<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n\tThe very first time? I was mortified from drooling on the man's shoulder. I hoped we'd never see each other again. But it didn't take long after our second encounter to warm up to him. Within hours, I was hoping he'd ask to see me again. Thank goodness we were on the same page.\n<\/p>\n \n\t
