| \n\t\t\t\tHow did you come up with your title?<\/strong> \n\t\t\t\tMistletoe Movie Star is the third novella in a Christmas series where all the book titles begin with the word Mistletoe and a second word starting with the letter “m.” It took me a while to settle on Movie Star, but I was thankful to find an original title that was not yet in use!\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n\t\t\t\tHow much of the book is based in real life?<\/strong> | \n\t\t\t\tThe entire story is fictional, but the idea is loosely based on local events. My city is dealing with a homeless crisis. A good friend of mine presented an argument to the city council that an emergency warming shelter was needed because temperatures were dipping dangerously low. I was so proud of her! She became an instant inspiration for Char.\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n\t\t\t\tWhat book are you reading now?<\/strong> | \n\t\t\t\tI am working through some Advanced Reader Copies of other Christmas novellas in the Pelican Book Group Christmas Extravaganza. I loved Redeeming Christmas by Carol James! She is a favourite author of mine. I cried through A New Hope for Christmas by Erin Stevenson, and I’m partway through First Class Christmas by Katy Eeten – which has had me laughing many times!\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n\t\t\t\tWhat is your next project?<\/strong> | \n\t\t\t\tI’ve nearly finished a fourth Christmas story, which might end up set in Mistletoe Meadows. In it, an overwhelmed army chaplain and a wish-fulfilling newspaper columnist team up to save a parent’s legacy and make a young woman’s Christmas wish come true. I’m also working on a romantic suspense novel.
