In this story, we get a peek into the lives of Princes Gregory of Chester’s Wake and Lady Merry Stern, ousted rebel of Dawson’s Edge.

When I wrote The Rejected Princess, I could feel the pain ahead for Gregory and Merry. I knew theirs would be a story of hurt and betrayal, and it was doubtful their budding feelings for each other could stand against the pain. I wanted them to win, to beat the odds, and to show that forgiveness and healing are possible. I knew I had to write The Rebel Princess.

Writing the story was both easy and tough. It was easy in that I knew where they were going all along, but it was tough because Gregory was so angry. I needed to write the book in a way that showed his anger without completely damaging all hope because of it.

Merry had issues of her own, though (don’t we all!). Their issues balanced each other, and the story came together in what I hope is a natural and inspiring way. Of course, there’s lots of mystery and adventure thrown in for the fun of it!

I can’t wait to hear what others think of The Rebel Princess!

Available on KU and Amazon today!

and all other online retailers.

By Katie Clark The Rebel Princess picks up where The Rejected Princess left off.
