| \n\t\t\t\tWhat is your writing schedule like?<\/strong><\/span> \n\t\t\t\tI love to write in the morning, usually cranking out around 1000 words a day.<\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n\t\t\t\tWhat would you say is your interesting writing quirk?<\/strong><\/span> | \n\t\t\t\tUsing big words comes very natural to me, and I'm always told that I have some words in my books that are unfamiliar to some people. \n\t\t\t\tAlso, I use fictional excerpts (ones I make up) from books, I invent letters, and create journal entries for my characters as a way to step into another perspective on the lives depicted in the stories.<\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n\t\t\t\tHow did you come up with your title?<\/strong><\/span> | \n\t\t\t\tThe title reflects conflict, and I wanted readers to know that even though it is a sweet clean romance, it is wrought with trials and hardship.<\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n\t\t\t\tTell us about your hero and heroine. What makes them likeable?<\/strong><\/span> | \n\t\t\t\tCharlotte Broughton is a survivor, accepting, and yet makes the best of her situation. \n\t\t\t\tLord Hipwith (Hugh) has been unappreciated for his finer qualities, and yet remains himself, not caving to society's wish to label him.<\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n\t\t\t\tHow much of the book is based in real life?<\/strong><\/span> | \n\t\t\t\tnone<\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n\t\t\t\tWhat makes this book special to you?<\/strong><\/span> | \n\t\t\t\tThe beautiful way the hero and heroine's eyes are opened to each other.<\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n\t\t\t\tAre plots based on someone you know or events in your own life?<\/strong><\/span> | \n\t\t\t\tnone<\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n\t\t\t\tWhat books have most influenced your life?<\/strong><\/span> | \n\t\t\t\tBeing an avid and numerous reader for my whole life, it's hard to pinpoint only a few. Some of my all-time favorites are the works of Dickens, George McDonald's 19th century adult fiction, Quo Vadis (nobel prize for literature), and Pride & Prejudice.<\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n\t\t\t\tWhat makes this a "must read" and why?<\/strong><\/span> | \n\t\t\t\tCharlotte's Dilemma is a must-read for the Christian Regency Romance reader. How Far to Bethlehem is a favorite, written by Lofts, it was a best-seller in its day and is Biblical historical fiction.<\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n\t\t\t\tWhat is the hardest part about writing?<\/strong><\/span> | \n\t\t\t\tWord count! It makes me anxious, but I can't get away from it.<\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n\t\t\t\tDo you have advice for other writers?<\/strong><\/span> | \n\t\t\t\tI advise other aspiring writers to get with one or more critique partners.
