I’ve gobbled up Ms Revell’s stories since the first one I read. A Mummy for Christmas garnered the same response. Carly Jefferson was assigned to cover a visit from Father Christmas at a local elementary school’s Christmas party. Excited to report something other than “hatched, matched, and dispatched” statistics, she finds her story when a little girl requests a mummy for Christmas, seated on her father Stan Fuller’s lap as he portrays Father Christmas. Sprinkled with British humor, suppressed emotion, hiding from the truth (that would give away the key plot point), romance commences at the revelation of a connected past. Suffice it to say, this is another Revell read worth savoring.
