5 of 5 Stars “…as if God had spilled a purse of diamonds across a swath of black velvet.” And then nurse Jane wakes up in a hospital bed. Doused with humor and terrific one-liners, this author sucked me into the story. Enter former-drummer-turned-pastor Tim, who’s drawn to her from the get-go. Jane uses flirtation to hide insecurities and struggles with seeing herself as Tim does. No spoilers. Satisfying ending.
