Battle of the Flowers
by Clare Revell
Battle of the Flowers is a very delightful read. For this would be world traveler this English Author's dialect added even more delight to the story; with words like boot, lorry, pelt and daft you get the feel of being in some romantic English country side.
Everyone in Hadley Cross loves radio host Jordan Tanner and i know you will love him too. I love when reality and fiction collide and if Jordan could step out of this story my tom boy daughter could be his Lia for sure. He'd be an answer to prayer.
Lea is a barista, a bit of a tom boy lacking in confidence but with a bit of spunk. Lea and Jordan are thrown together over the towns festivities and putting together some outstanding fun. Clare didn't forget some adventure to go along with all the celebrating. She does a suburb job of keeping you interested as a fan gets a little out of hand.
It seems no matter how we see ourselves GOD will bring someone along to show us how he sees us and Jordan is GOD's reflection for Lia.
This was my first book by Clare Revell and I will be looking for more!
