It’s not often I pick up a book I can’t put down. But this is one of those.
Teddy has been through the wringer before we meet her and she’s not going to get an easy ride here either. Tossed straight into a shooting, she’s determined not to let anything faze her. With the exception of the cop assigned to her case. The one man she could quite happily do without seeing ever again.
Sloan struggles to keep his mind on the job. He has other reasons for wanting to keep Teddy alive and safe, but that becomes increasingly difficult to do as the witnesses to the shooting begin dying.
This story will keep the reader glued to the pages. Just when you think its safe to draw another breath, put the book down, something else happens. A rollercoaster of a ride, this book is a keeper.
